Easton is 9 months!!!

Holy Cow!! I can't believe that this little guy is 2lbs. 1.5 oz., 13 in. long...
is now 9 Months old!!! I took Easton to the doctor the other day and he weighs 14lbs. 9 oz. (0%), 25.5 in. long (0%), and 44.3 cm head cir. (21%).

The doctor said that he is doing really good and is about at the stage of a 6 1/2 month old developmentally; which is what his adjusted age is. Basically, he is great!!! He claps and can sit up but doesn't like to very often. He really likes to roll over and has got 3 teeth that are trying to come in.
We are just so grateful to have him in our home and family.

Oh, as a side note... I have had lots of people ask me about my couponing secrets... well, I mainly use the Pinching Your Pennies site. They always post the best deals for everything from groceries to clothing to food.

A Special Day!!

Yesterday was a fun and special day for us. It was our anniversary and my Dad's birthday!!
Happy Birthday Dad!!
I hope that you had a great day! We love you! Here are some reasons why we think that you are awesome:

Alright, now to the anniversary... Seven years ago yesterday, Scott and I were married for time and all eternity in the Bountiful Temple!! Wow, we can't believe that it has been that long, I guess time flies when you are having fun :)

Here are a few fun memories of that day:
~ It was very hot and windy, at one point I tied my veil around my neck because it kept blowing forward.
~ I wore flip-flops.. I loved that!!
~ Our reception was in my parents backyard and they live pretty close to the fairgrounds... well the "Truck and Tractor Pull" was the same night and so you could hear all the revving and to top it off... a lot of people from Morgan would come to our reception on their way up to the fairgrounds!! I laughed :)

Scott, you are so amazing!! Thanks for all that you do and for putting up with me for 7 years!! :) Let's make it 7 + more years!! I love you tons!!

It has been so long since I have posted and I am sorry... Things have been super busy and crazy at my house that I have barely had 2 seconds to sit down at the computer. And I also have pictures, but they are on the computer that is with Scott... so I will do pictures later.

Things have been great here in the Langford household.. Easton had his 6 month check-up two weeks ago and he is 10lbs. 13.5oz. Still small, but his Dr. isn't worried because he is parallel to the curve. Easton is in the 0% in height and weight and then his head measurement is 1% :) He has started to eat baby food... he so far loves what he has tried which is Sweet Potatoes and Butternut Squash...Easton loves to laugh and smile and is so much fun to have around.

Dylan is talking alot more and we have now started to potty train him. He is actually doing really well with that and likes to tell everyone that he went pee-pee. Dylan also likes to copy-cat us when we are talking. It is funny because Kylee will come in the room and ask me a question and Dylan is always right behind her saying what she says. He loves to tell jokes.. although he only has one joke that he says.. "Knock-Knock... Who's there? Bottle... Bottle who? Bottle!!" He thinks that it is really funny!!

Kylee is doing great.. she is getting really excited for her birthday and has been asking for 3 months now when will it be her birthday! She is such a good big sister to her brothers and likes that I can trust her to help out with Easton.. such as feeding him a bottle and keeping him happy if I can't get to him.

Scott and I are doing great!! Real Estate has been slow, but things are starting to pick up a little with the buyers now that the weather is warming up... And while it has been slow, Scott decided to get back into school and finish his degree. He says he should be done end of Fall if he takes classes this summer. :) I have started to watch a couple of kids which has actually been good for me... I am just glad that I am able to help out. Well that is it for now.. I will try to post some pictures when I am on the other computer.

Governor signs bill for new homes grant

Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. signed a bill yesterday that will provide $6,000 grants to buyers of newly constructed, never-occupied homes. Upon his signature, he immediately directed the Utah Housing Corporation to begin dispersing grants under the “Home Run” program to buyers who finance a recently constructed home with a 30-year (or less) fixed-rate mortgage and meet other qualifications.

Senate Bill 260 created a fund that will use federal stimulus dollars to provide about 1,600 grants to be distributed through Utah Housing Corporation to home buyers on a first-come, first-served basis.

To apply for the grant, home buyers should work through their lender. Any mortgage lender qualified to make mortgage loans under Utah law can assist home buyers to secure the Home Run grant, but Utah Housing has a list of currently approved lenders. Lenders will work directly with Utah Housing Corporation to apply for the grant money. Examples of qualifying mortgages include conventional, FHA, VA, Rural Housing and Utah Housing loans. Cash buyers should work directly with Utah Housing.

Consumers do not have to be first-time buyers to qualify for the program but incomes cannot exceed $75,000 for singles and $150,000 for married couples. Buyers who qualify for both programs can take advantage of the $8,000 federal home-buyer tax credit as well as a Home Run grant.

“It is up to the states to use the federal stimulus money in a way that truly has a beneficial impact on our economy. This is an immediate stimulus targeted at the weakest area of Utah’s economy,” Huntsman said in a press release. “This investment of $10 million will result in 8,800 jobs in the market and $324 million in wages into our economy. This boost is critical for us to reverse our current position.”

My baby is BIG!!!

I have been meaning to blog for awhile and everytime I sit down at the computer I get side-tracked... and if you know me that is no suprise!! :) Anyway, here is a little catch up of the last couple of weeks.

I took Easton to the Dr. on Thursday and he weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 2 oz.!! I was so surprised, I was not even expecting to be over the 9 lbs. mark. The nurse was surprised too when she looked at his charts because he had made such a huge jump from his 2 month. He was still 3 lbs. at that appointment. He is still in the 0% and will be for awhile, but an average 4 month old is 15 lbs. so he is catching up. Right now he has been practicing his smiles and coos. He is so funny, we will go get him from his crib and he will look up at us and give us the biggest grin.

Then there is Dylan who has been picking up on words lately. He tries to be big like his sister and copy everything that she does and says. Their new favorite game is Hide and Seek. It is so cute to watch Dylan follow Kylee around and imitate her. She will ask, "Where is Daddy?" and then he will say the same thing after she does. He really loves to play with his sister!!!

For Valentines Day, Scott and I decided to stay home with the kids... We didn't like the idea of going out when everyone else was so we got some pizza and played hide and seek and then Scott and I watched a movie!! It was a great day that was low key and no stress, which made it an awesome day!!

These are pictures of the kids in shirts that my mom and dad gave them for V-day!! The kids loved them!! Dylan did so much that he wore his for two days and wouldn't let me take it off!!
(Kylee's is a ballerina and her dog dancing, Dylan's says, "Just give me snacks and no one gets hurt!" (which is so like Dylan), and Easton's says, "Handsome like Daddy".)

Quitting the Church

In a local newspaper in Provo, Utah, there had been an ongoing series of articles written by individuals who wanted to persuade LDS Church Members to leave the church. In response to the highly critical and spirited remarks, a member wrote this rebuttal:

Dear Editor:
I have been thinking about quitting the Mormon Church. Yes, if I can, I am going to get even with that church. As soon as I can find another church that teaches about the Gathering of the House of Israel; the return of the Ten Tribes and their mission; the return of the Jews to Palestine; the building of temples and their purposes; and the mission of Elias, the prophet, as predicted by Malachi. Is there another church that teaches the method for the salvation of the people that died at the time of Noah and the flood; the origin of the American Indian; the complete explanation of why Jesus of Nazareth needed a mortal mother; the explanation of the three degrees of glory (three heavens) as mentioned by Paul? How about one that teaches about the need for the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that teaches that Joseph Smith was chosen before he ever came to earth to be the prophet to usher in that restoration? What about another church with the belief in eternal
marriage and the family, and the knowledge of where to be sealed so the family can be together for eternity? Where is another church that sells the best fire insurance policy on earth for the last days, for only a 10th of my income, and that teaches abstinence from all harmful drugs and foods?

Yes sir, as soon as I can find another church that teaches all that, or even half as much, I will say good-bye to this Mormon Church. The church that I am looking for must also be able to motivate 50,000 youth, and adults, for the first, second or third time to leave their homes for two years at their own expense and be sent to far-away missions to teach and preach without salary. It must be able to call 5 or 6 thousand members to go pick apples on a frosty day; and it must get the attention of more than 150,000 men and boys for two hours to listen to a prophet, not to mention women and girls taking the time to listen to their leaders. Could you help me find a church that teaches and shows why salvation is assured for children who die before eight years of age?

Mr. Editor, could you help me find a church that teaches all that and more and hundreds of other doctrines and principles, which I have no room to mention here, and which brings solace and comfort to the soul, peace, hope, and salvation to mankind, and above all, that answers the key questions that all the great philosophers have asked -- questions and answers that explain the meaning of life, the purpose of death, suffering and pain, the absolute need for a redeemer and the marvelous plan happiness conceived and executed by Jesus Christ the Savior?

Yes, as soon as I find another church that teaches that and also that has the organization and the priesthood power to make that teaching effective, I am going to quit the Mormon Church. Don't you think, Mr. Editor, that the Divine Church should also have prophets that don't get old and sick, and die and certainly that don't make a goof here and there? A Divine Church should be so divine that only perfect people should belong to it, and only perfect people should run it. As a matter of fact, the Church should be so perfect that it should not even be here on earth! So, I repeat, if any one of the kind readers of this imperfect letter knows about another church that teaches and does as much for mankind as the Mormon Church, please let me know. And please do it soon, because my turn to go to the cannery is coming up soon. Also, they want to send my fifth and last son to go on a mission and I'll have to pay for it all. And I also know that they expect me to go to the farm to prune trees before long. Boy, these Mormons don't leave you alone for a minute. And what do I get for all they ask me to do? Well, someone said, for one, you can look forward to a funeral service at no charge!

Since we are using this Blog as a family journal for years to come. I wanted to save this graph in one of our posts so I can take it down on the sidebar. It still blows my mind to see the chart. How does a baby that is born at 2 lbs and 1 oz and actually dip down to 1 lb and 9 oz survive? Easton not only survived but had no complications. 4 weeks before he was born, Doctors were preparing us with having a Down Syndrome baby because he only had 2 vessels in the umbilical cord instead of 3. Maybe because we were ok with that is why we were upbeat at the Hospital and in NICU for the coming weeks.

So my wife's last 2 days that she posted on here, she filled it with TAGS... I have to publicly apologize. Please don't ban our blog because of this carelessness. (she just called me a meany head for that, so I don't think I am in to much trouble) I guess the Tags are a quicker way to get to know someone, so that's just Neat, but.. ya. now jumping off soapbox.

I love it when Teisha does her coupon shopping if you can't tell by now. It does take a lot more effort but I think its worth it. We are trying to shop from our pantry and storage downstairs rather then have to go shopping anytime we are low in the cupboards. It really is starting to build up as well. Here is a pick of yesterdays run with Kylee.

We spent the night at Primary Hospital with Easton on Tuesday. He had his bilateral inguinal hernias taken care of. We had to stop all food and beverage in the morning. His last meal was 9:30. He didn't have surgery until 3:30. Can you tell me how a premature baby is suppose to go 6 hours and then some without food? On the way to the hospital, we stopped at the Church Office Buildings in SLC and had my dad assist us in giving Easton a blessing. Dad thought he could use his badge to scan all of us into his department. Security is nuts there now a days. Instead of hasseling with signing in and creating temp badges at the front, we used this little closet in the lobby. Easton was so calm the rest of the day. I kept looking at Teish just in awe wondering when Easton was about to flip out. He just stayed asleep until the hospital gave him an IV so he wouldn't dehydrate. It was really neat to see how that Priesthood Blessing assisted Easton through the day, surgery, and his post op.

We were in this large waiting room with lots of other parents... waiting. After we started talking to them, we felt almost sorry we were in there at all. One family was in there for 9 hours waiting for there 1 year old daughters open heart surgery. Another couple dads have been there on and off for months. Staying at local hotels and the Ronald McDonald home. We are so blessed that Easton was not born with any complications other then just being a light weight.

The night was not fun at all. Teisha got a 24 hour flu and threw up all night. We traded from the rocking chair to the "cot" either when Teisha went to hug the toilet or when Easton was hungry. Lets just say it was a night that was not ending for awhile.

I'm still busy with real estate and school. But am very glad that I decided to finish up my degree. I should be graduated this time next year. I plan on always having my real estate license, because even when I don't sit on the phones at the office and prospect for work, I have been getting a lot of referrals from family and past clients. I am very greatful for that and obviously it has been a life saver during these fun economic times.

Oh and my parents are home now. They lived in New Zealand for about 15 months for work. You can read about their last hiking adventure on their blog. We had the whole family at the house in Layton except Joey since he is serving a mission in Taiwan right now. It was just a couple days before Christmas. So the timing couldn't have worked out better. They showered all the kids with gifts and for Christmas we all got a different weapon from Somao. Ours is a club on one said and has spikes on the other. Also has a cool painting all over it. We hope our parents didn't feel anxious with the house full and want to go back to the warmth of Auckland but thats how we thought we would break them in I guess.

Our December so far...

Well we have had such a fun month, December is by far my favorite month!! We are all doing well.

Easton is doing good and is weighing in at 5lbs. now! YAY!! We also took Easton down to Primary Children's to get his inguinal hernias looked at and the surgeon said that he would like to get them fixed with in the month. So on January 6th, Easton will go in for surgery and stay over night to make sure that all goes well with him coming off the anesthesia. I am not so excited for him to go back in the hospital.. but this is good for him to get it fixed and it could be worse.

Kylee is so excited for christmas and for her Grandma & Grandpa Langford to come home on Monday!!! And also to see her Aunt, Uncle and cousins that she hasn't seen for two years.

Dylan has discovered the snow and could play out there all day. He especially loves to throw snowballs... he can't make them so I make them and he throws them. He is also starting to try to talk more and use more words. It is fun to see him figure out new words and he starting to be more patient with us when we don't understand him.

Scott and I are just excited about this season and being able to be with all our family and friends!!

Ok... I have had a lot of people ask me for my "expert couponing" advice ever since Scott bragged about my shopping trip. Well, I am sorry to disappoint, but I am not an expert... Awhile back I asked Teisha to start watching for more sales and try to shop on sales so we can try to save a pretty penny here and there. But I never thought it was worth clipping coupons and organizing them and whatever. Well Teish has taken it to the next level with it. She gets 2 papers every Sunday and frequents a couple websites that tell her of the sales related with the coupons in the paper. She does have to take a little extra time before she leaves for the store but I think she actually enjoys it. She came home braggin that she got almost 80 dollars worth but only had to spend 8 bucks. Then later says one of the things has a 10 dollar rebate. So we got paid 2 bucks to go shopping. And this wasn't even from the Beer Rebates that she is going to start to do as well. (KSL Clip 1 and 2 ) I do have to give my sister Laura credit as well. She gets like 5 papers every Sunday and has saved over 1400 dollars this year in grocerys. I even heard a husband at church braggin about his wife ebaying for coupons and rebates. They get all there cereal for 10 cents a box, etc... ok, well I'm done braggin about my wife but I think its actually cool that she is doing this and just wanted to show her that I appreciate her efforts. Easton is Home!!!

I didn't give much detail about Easton coming home in the last post, and then I have had so much fun being home with the kids that I haven't got around to filling you all in... so here it is:
Last Monday I went to go see Easton and while I was there the doctor came to do the daily check-up on Easton. She asked the nurse if she had any concerns with Easton other than the fact that he still needed to gain weight.. and the nurse said no. So the Dr. told the nurse to put Easton on straight breast milk with no added calories and then if he did well with that then he would get to come home on Tuesday. I was so excited!!! At this point, Easton was weighing 1725 grams or 3 lbs. 12 oz. and the other doctors kept saying that they wanted him at 1800 grams or 4 lbs.
So on Tuesday we went up and he had actually lost a couple of grams and I was so worried that they weren't going to let him come home... but they did!!!!

This is Easton wireless and on his way home!! He wasn't so sure about leaving... he had a very concerned look on his face. Kylee was so excited to see Easton and Dylan was distracted and didn't even realize that Easton was home.
Dylan has figured it out now and loves to hold him and kiss him.

Kylee and Dylan come running as soon as they hear Easton cry. They love to help!! Easton is doing so good at home and it is nice to have all of my family together.

We did take Easton to the Dr. on Thursday and he weighed 3 lbs. 14.5 oz... which is great because he is gaining weight. We did however find out that he has two different hernias: one is an umbilical hernia which will fix itself within by the time he is 6 months. The other one is above the groin area (I don't remember the name) This one will have to be fixed surgically, but we won't have to worry about it for a year, if it doesn't get worse. Other than that everything else is great!

We would just like to thank all of you who have showed your support through the comments that you have left on our blog... there have been so many that we have not been able to respond back. We would also like to thank everyone who helped with watching the kids so that we could go up to the hospital. You have all made the past 7 weeks easier for us to get through!

This is my quick post for now I will do more later... I just wanted to let everyone know that Easton came home today!!!! He was able to come home weighing less than what they told us they wanted him to be. We are so excited and it is great to have him home finally!!!

NICU Buddy!!!

On Thursday, Easton got a NICU buddy. Curt and Joselyn Daich had their baby a month early and he had a little problem with breathing so he is in the NICU now. It makes our trips to the hospital fun now because they are usually there when we are!!
Easton is doing so good... on Friday afternoon, he got his feeding tube taken out and last night we went in and had him try to breast feed... and he did great!! The doctors are saying that he should be able to come home soon, he just needs to gain some more weight. He needs to weigh at least 1800g and right now he is over 1600g. I never thought that it would come, but we are staring to see the light at the end on the tunnel and it is so great!!
We will let everyone know as soon as Easton gets to come home and when my hermit days will begin :)

Catch Up!!

I feel like I am so behind with updating everyone, and everything else that I am about to go crazy!! So I am hoping that when Easton comes home that things will return to somewhat normal. :)

Easton is doing great, as usual!! Today he is weighing in at 1445 grams, which is 3lbs. 3 oz. The doctor has given the ok to move him into an open bed... and then, because he is awake so much, she told the nurse to try to feed him with the bottle whenever he is acting like he is hungry. This is great news... I thought that we had at least another week before he would get to this point!! We have no idea when he will come home...it all depends on him. He is getting close though, he needs to take the bottle at all feedings and drink the whole thing and be able to wake himself up for feedings... so this is the next thing that he will be working on now.

As for the rest of us... we have been great and excited for halloween. On Saturday, we went to Laura's and carved/painted pumpkins. Kylee and Dylan had so much fun painting. Kylee's was colorful and then by the end of the night it was all brown because she had mixed all of the colors and Dylan's was blue polka dots. Scott and I carved our pumpkins.. his was some crazy half jackolantern/evil dude... and mine was what I like to call "Edward and Bella". We had so much fun!! Thanks Laura and Scott for letting us come over!!

Then yesterday we went to Scott's aunt's house for a Halloween Party...

Scott was a computer nerd, Dylan was a Pirate, Kylee was a fairy princess, I was a Mummy... (although Scott told me that I looked like an 80's rocker.. so take your pick!!) and then Easton was a pumpkin... thanks to my Grandma Larson for making the hat... it is so cute and fits perfectly!!

It has only been a week I know, but when you have a baby in the NICU you should be updating more... so I apologize :)

Easton is doing great!! He is off the lights.. which he loves because he can be all bundled up, he always looks so cozy that way...

He is now up to 20 cc of milk per feeding, which is 3/4 of an ounce!! He is still being fed with a feeding tube but in the next week or two they will start to introduce the bottle. He is now weighing in at 2 lbs. 6 oz. and is gaining more every day!! He still looks so small, but he is growing out of his little beanie that they gave him... so that is good to see!! We couldn't be more excited about our little bundle of joy and the progress that he is making!!

As for the rest of the family... we are all doing good and adjusting to this new routine of making sure we get up to the hospital at least once a day. Thanks to all of our neighbors, friends and family who have helped and continue to help us each day with the kids!!!
Today we took a little field trip to the Day Farms Pumpkin Patch... it is some what of a tradition I guess you could say with some of us in the ward. It is really fun and this year I brought Scott along!!

The last four pictures are from a fieldtrip that Kylee went on for school to another pumpkin patch. Dylan, Kylee and her friend Brielle, were playing on the slides that were there.

Easton is one week old!!

I can't believe that is has already been one week since our roller coaster ride began!! On Thursday, I was an emotional wreck!! I cried over everything and especially whenever I thought about Easton. Poor Scott didn't know what to do with me :) I decided though that it was because the day that Easton was born I was totally calm and was not emotional at all... and now a week later everything hit me and I couldn't control it... but it was good for me and now I am fine!!

Easton is doing great!! He has gained 50 grams since yesterday.. YAY!!! It is like half of an ounce, but it is great for him. They have gone up to 17cc of milk per feeding, before he was at 16cc, and the add a special oil to the milk to give him more calories to fatten him up :) They are still keeping him on the bililights until his bilirubin level can stay down and more controlled. He was off for half a day and the level went up so they turned the lights back on... but that is normal so no worries.

So all in all he is doing great and we couldn't be more grateful to the nurses and doctors that take care of him!!

Easton Davis Langford was born on Sept 25th 2008.

13 inches long

2 Pounds 1.5 Ounces

His Due date was for November 30th 2008. He started slowing down in growth and from our last appointment was 3 weeks behind. After the in depth ultra sound we found that he only had 2 vessels in his cord instead of 3. Also the fluids were really low which made the Dr very concerned. We started doing Dr. visits every week which included a stress test and doppler test. Every week Easton was passing the doppler test. Meaning the blood was flowing well through the umbilical cord. He wasn't doing the greatest on the stress test. Then we started seeing the Doc twice a week. Monday he Failed the stress test but still had good blood flow. Then Thursday morning we came in and didn't do well on the doppler either. We are so grateful to have a doctor that has ultrasound equipment in each one of his rooms. So every single appt. he is able to do all of these tests and get great pictures and record everything on a DVD for us. His name is Jed Naisbitt at the Circle of Life clinic in South Ogden. He delivered Dylan as well. If it wasn't for Jeds persistence and care for Easton and Teisha we would have been looking at a still born. Anyways, Jed wanted us to come to Ogden Regional and do one more test. They hooked Teisha on an IV and made her have contractions. Well Eastons heart rate would drop. So they scheduled a C- Section at 2 o clock. 2:08 he was born and Teisha was back in her room 15 mins later. And no I did not look past the shield. I'm not dumb. I actually was shaking worse then Teisha. It just all came so fast. That morning was suppose to be a 20 min drs appt. Not the beginning of living at the hospital for the next 2 months.

Dylan's Shoe Fetish

So for the last couple of months we have noticed something odd about Dylan... he has a HUGE shoe fetish. If he can put it on he will, if not he will bring it to you and have you put it on his foot.

Here he is sporting one of my shoes and one of Scott's shoes. His favorite shoes to put on are either Kylee's dress up shoes or my high heels, because they make lots of noise on the tile when he walks and they are easier for him to put on. He really loves to put his shoes on because he knows that that means he gets to go outside and play. If he wants to go outside he will find his shoes, bring them to you and after you put them on him, he will go to the garage door and knock. (Which means that he wants to go outside.) It is really funny to watch him.

Here he is getting mad at me because I kept taking pictures of him driving. Now nobody worry about them doing this... they are totally safe!! My car is an automatic and it is hard for them to put it into gear and the E-brake is always up and very hard to get down.. I struggle sometimes. Also they never have the keys and don't really know what to do with them if they did... the worst they do is push buttons!!! They are really funny when they play in there and love to switch off who gets to be the driver... or in Kylee's words "The Daddy."

Kylee has discovered a new talent that she has... it is picture taking... she actually got pretty good. Once she figured out how to hold the camera without her finger being in the picture and how to get mom in the picture; she started to tell me how to pose and what to do for the picture.

Wow... there was a lot to talk about after just a week!!! Well, I have a one more little blurp and then I am done...

Some of you may be wanting to know of any updates on the pregnancy and baby status... Well, since my dr. decided to jet off to Italy last week, he had me see another dr. in the same office last Tuesday... This dr. said that the blood flow through the umbilical cord was really good (which is a good thing) and that the fluid level was low but not dangerously low and that the baby was at a pretty size, still behind what he should be, but everything looked good. He was very optimistic and said that if the fluid level would keep going up and the baby keep growing well that he thinks that I would be able to go full term!! YAY!!!! He also said that if everything still keeps looking good, but the fluid level doesn't stay up he said that I am looking at probably delivering 2-3 weeks early. Which isn't bad either. So we are keeping our fingers crossed and praying to make it until November. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and help!! I can feel the Spirit so strong every day and know that it is because of all of your prayers and I know that Heavenly Father is with me and helping this baby stay strong and to keep growing so that he can be a part of our family and be a missionary for our Heavenly Father.

Alright... so here is a funny story that happened today. I have been watching my nieces for the past couple of days and was glad to get some comic relief...

Ok.. so the girls all came upstairs and wanted to watch a movie and have a snack... so I said, "ok but I need to find Dylan." I had just heard him like 2 minutes before kind of being whiny so I knew that he was getting tired. I went downstairs and turned off the music and figured that he probably fell asleep in the tent because I couldn't see him or hear him. I looked in the tent and he wasn't there.. so then I thought well he is either getting into something or he went upstairs and fell asleep. I started to call his name and kylee was helping me and then she said, "look mom, there he is..." and this is where he was..

Today was Kylee's first day of school... and she was so excited!! I was not able to drop her off at school because I had a doctor's appt., but my wonderful neighbor Tina took her and said that she went right in and was excited to be there!! I picked her up and she was a little exhausted and disappointed that she had to walk home, but she said that she had a lot of fun!! They learned about favorites today... her favorite color is Brown, her fav. food is Hot Dogs, and her fav. game is Hi-Ho Cherry-O.

Now for those of you who don't know, as of last Tuesday we have had some problems come up with the pregnancy. My fluid level was really low and the baby was measuring to be 3 weeks behind where he should. Also, the umbilical cord has only two vessels instead of three... so that is limiting the amount of calories the baby is getting which could be why the fluid is low and he is so small. The Dr. said that one of the causes for this could be a chormesonal problem, which we wouldn't know until the baby is born. He is expecting to take the baby early, so I have had to get steroid shots to help the baby's lungs develop faster.
Since Tuesday I have seen the Dr. twice and my fluid levels have gone up quite a bit and the baby is growing, he is only two weeks behind instead of three. I still will be going in once a week probably until I have the baby so that they can keep an eye on him... we want to keep him in for as long as we can without causing too much stress on the baby, if he gets too stressed then they have to start me early and then we could have a lot more problems on top of what is already there.
So, for now I am on a semi-bedrest which means I just can't do too much... which is hard sometimes for me to do, but I know that it is for mine and the baby's own good. We are in good spirits though and just stay positive and know that our Heavenly Father is watching over us and that His will will be done. I will keep updating the more we find out.

So this is our monthly update post!! I want to try to get better at posting more often, so if I can keep my nose out of my books I should do just fine. In the last two months I have read five books... I started out by reading "The Other Boleyn Girl" and was so intrigued with the history that I wanted to read more and the author had actually written four other books that all tied into this book and each other. I am now waiting for the last book in the series to come out on the 16th of September and so I have told myself that I have to finish all of my little projects and things around the house before it comes out. So that means I now have the time to update you all on what has been happening in the Langford household.

Kylee is getting ready for preschool to start. She will be going to Jelly Bean Junction and is very excited about it. We went to an open house at the school and Kylee looked at me and asked, "Mom, why are you still here?" And now she tells me that the next time that she goes to school that I won't need to stay with her. She is also very excited about her new baby brother and asks me daily how he is doing and when she will get to see him... I think that she is more anxious for him to be here than me.

Dylan has upgraded to a big boy bed... and now the kids share a room and sleep in bunk beds!! They love it and have transitioned very well to sharing a room with eachother. Dylan is starting to become very talkative and babbles all the time. It is so funny because you can ask him questions and he will answer, it is like talking to someone who speaks another language!! His favorite things to do lately is jumping, dancing and wrestling with Dad or Kylee. He will run up behind Kylee and put his arms around her waist and then pull her down... it is so funny and Kylee thinks that it is hilarious!!

Baby #3 is growing and doing well. We had an in depth ultrasound last week and everything looked good... to me at least, but the fluid around the baby is a little low so the radiologist was having a hard time getting a clear picture and they also said that the baby was a little smaller than they thought... so, to be on the safe side and make sure everything is ok, we have to go back in and get another one done on Tuesday. I am trying not to freak myself out too bad and to drink lots of water so that we can get a better ultrasound. Cross your fingers!!

And then there is Scott and I. Nothing much new here, I am still holding down the fort and trying to stay upright each day and Scott is busy and doing well with work!! Can't complain :) Here are some pics from the summer...

This month has been lots of fun for us. For the 4th, West Point had a big BBQ and lots of fun activities at the park and then that night there were fireworks. Then the next day was the parade. The kids had so much fun watching the parade and Kylee loved the fireworks. Then on the 6th was mine and Scott's 6th anniversary!!! We went to dinner and a movie,(we are so exciting, i know).

We bought a little blow-up swimming pool for the kids because it has been so hot and that is the only way to have them stay outside for longer than 5 min. They love the pool and have become little fishes!!

For the 24th, we went up to my Mom & Dad's in Morgan to go swimming and do fireworks... the kids had so much fun swimming!! Dylan loved playing "Motor Boat" and when we weren't playing he would kind of sing the song and then start kicking and laughing when he got to the end of the song... it was so funny!! Kylee would watch Scott swim and would try to do what he was doing... at one point she was trying to do the "Butterfly" with her floaties on and it was pretty funny to watch. Another time her floaties came off and she decided that she wanted to swim without them. She got really good at this and here are some 'silent' videos of her swimming like a big girl...

Our Family Band!!

So last weekend we had a little swimming/b-day/father's day party at my Mom & Dad's house. It was fun to go swimming with the kids and to hang out with the fam. Dylan's favorite part about going to grandpa's is to go in the shop in the back and go to the room upstairs that has all of Justin's band equipment. Kylee, Dylan, Grandma, and Grandpa might just start their own band... They were having so much fun singing and playing the piano and drums.

So, we went to the Doctor's on Wednesday and were told that we are having a boy!! We are excited and it will be good to get some more boys in the family. We have no idea on a name. I got a baby names book from the library and have been totally overwhelmed by all the names that there are to choose from and also all the names that I can't use. So if you have any name ideas... feel free to send them over.

On another note, I planted my first garden this year. (I am so proud of myself!) I planted corn, onions, giant pumpkins (but only one came up), watermelon, cantalope, strawberries, jalepenos, tomatoes, beans, peas, and cucumbers. I may have gotten a little carried away, so we will see how it goes. Here is a picture of my garden, and Scott has already classified me as a dork because I took pictures of my garden, but I am very proud of myself and wanted to show it off.

Our Family Vacation

Wow... it has been so crazy at our house this last month, I now finally have time to sit down and post and let you know what has been going on with us.

Well, the most exciting thing that has happened since our last post is that we have grass!!! YEAH!!! The first thing Kylee wanted to do was to put on her swimsuit and run in the sprinklers. My brother, Justin, had to go through with her a couple of times and then she figured it out and loved it. Dylan wasn't so keen on the fact that cold water was being sprayed on him.

Kylee really loves that we have grass, but I think that Dylan would rather have all the dirt back...

We also took a little family vacation with our friends, the Daich's, and went to Las Vegas for Memorial Day weekend. Her dad lives there and so we were able to stay at his house which is about 15 minutes away from the strip and were able to go to some fun places. We went to a Children's Discovery Museum, a Botanical Cactus Garden and Chocolate Factory, a Shark Reef Aquarium, and the Las Vegas Zoo. The zoo wasn't the greatest and it was overrun by pigeons, chickens, and peacocks, but the kids had fun chasing the birds so it was worth it. Here are some pictures from Vegas...

As you can tell, at the Cactus Garden we struggled to get a good family picture... but they are pretty funny to look at that is for sure!! :)

After Vegas we stopped in St. George where my parents have a little house, which Kylee calls "The Curious George House" and we hung out there for a couple of days. We made a little house out of cardboard boxes and the kids loved it!! Who knew!!! Kylee was also able to go on a little motorcycle ride with my parents... which we were all suprised because she was scared of it at first. So we took advantage of that moment and took a picture.

Our last day in St. George was actually the warmest day of our whole vacation, so we went swimming with some friends in our ward that were also down there. We had a ton of fun... and all of us big people got fried!! Kylee decided that she wanted to wear a life jacket like her friends, but when she got in the pool with it she kept rolling on her back!! She wasn't heavy enough to keep her and the life jacket upright, so we went back to arm floaties for her. Dylan found some pink goggles that he loved wearing!! Scott didn't like that his son was wearing pink... but everytime we took them off, he wanted them back on again. It was funny!!

After we came home and got our house back to order we went and hung out with the Goode's for a day the girls got in their suits and ran through the sprinklers. Here they are enjoying the warm weather...

Kylee's 3rd Birthday!!

I know that I am very behind with this post seeing as Kylee's birthday was almost a week ago, but I haven't had time to get on the computer and if I do Scott has usually been on it. I swear the computer is going to eventually become stuck to him that is how much he is on it, but he is usually working so I can't complain too much :).

Well to start off Kylee's Birthday week we rode the FrontRunner, which is the new commuter train here in UT. It was free Mon-Wed so everyone was trying to ride it before they had to pay. It was fun, we went from Clearfield to Ogden and then back to Clearfield. The kids loved it!! Here are some pictures:

Friday was Kylee's actual birthday and boy was it a day!! Kylee had a Princess party with her friends and they all dressed up like princesses!! It was soooo cute and they all had tons of fun.

We tried to play games like "Duck, Duck, Goose" but 3-yr olds don't really get the concept. So, they made their own little pizzas for lunch instead.

While the pizzas cooked Kylee opened presents... and it was the funniest thing to watch. All of the girls were crowded around anticipating what it could be. Once the present was opened, Kylee would look at it and say, "Oh, Thank you so much, I love it!!" and was just being her cheesey little self.

I love that last picture... Kylee's friend Brielle was telling her how she had that same doll. (I think that she almost thought that it was hers and was suprised that Kylee had it.) After the presents were opened, they had lunch and cupcakes and then went home.

Then later that night my family came over for a party as well!!

It was like christmas for Kylee and she loved every minute of it... She is still in birthday mode.

Well life has been a little crazy around our house this week. It has been so crazy that I have been wondering what I was thinking when I wanted to get pregnant again with baby #3!! But since I can't take it back I will embrace it... I think that I felt this way too when I was pregnant with Dylan and everything was fine.

This is Kylee helping me cook. She loves to help cook and her new favorite shows to watch are cooking shows!! :) I think that she will be a chef. Kylee has also been talking up a storm about her birthday which is on the 2nd of May. She will be three and I can't believe that she is that old already.

Dylan is my little Beethoven. He loves to play the piano and always pushes the buttons to create different beats and sounds.

And this is Baby #3. I had my first doctor's visit on Wednesday. Everything looks good and there is only one baby.. YEAH!!! I was a little worried about there being more than one. So that is my little family.. we are growing so fast!!!

The Cabin!!!

This weekend we went to Bear Lake to my parents cabin. It was lots of fun. Everybody was up there and we got in one last snowmobiling trip before the snow melts. Here are some fun pictures of all the kids. Kylee loved Molly and was always wondering where she was and making sure that she was ok. Dylan has never experienced being around a baby, so he thought that Molly was pretty cool as well, but he liked to pat her a little too hard. But he talked to her and then she would talk back. It was really cute!!

And for those of you haven't noticed, we are expecting baby #3. We are really excited and the due date so far is November 28.

I know... I am a bit behind on this post, but I haven't been able to be on the computer for very long. Dylan, my computer officer, won't let me play here. So here is our Easter post.

So the week of Easter, Scott and I went to Vegas for a few days. It was nice to get away to someplace that was warm. There is not much to do there if you do not participate in the activities that Vegas is all about, gambling, drinking, partying, etc. So we walked the Strip and saw some shows. We did go down to "Fremont Street" which is the original Vegas. That was really cool. Oh, and we did go out to eat with one of Scott's mission companions. So all in all Vegas was ok, we had fun but were glad to go home. I was actually so anxious to get home that after being on the road for like 45 min. I realized that I had left my ring in the hotel room and so we turned back to get it. I was so mad!! Here are some pics.

We did come home in time to do the Easter Egg Hunt in West Point. Laura came too with Tyler and Hadlee. The girls had fun, but it was kind of cold and so they were ready to go home where it was warm.

Easter Morning!!! Here are the kids on Easter morning in their Easter outfits. I am very proud of them because I made them!! The fabric for Kylee's dress was also what was given to my Mom from my Great Grandma Smith's house, so that is pretty cool. Kylee loved finding eggs around the house that the Easter Bunny had hid. She liked it so much that when she was done she still kept trying to find eggs.

As you can see, alot has been going on in our house... I will try to be better with updating everyone about our lives... and to end on that note here is one last picture...

I just wanted to fill everyone in on the good things that have happened in our family this last weekend. First of all, Scott recieved the "Rookie of the Year" award for the Weber/No. Davis Association of Realtors. We are very proud of him and all his hard work, and we are hoping for this year to be as good as the last.

The last but not least bit of good news is that Dylan is walking all over the house on his own... Here is a clip of him...

He was walking so fast that he had caught up to me and tackled me at the end. He will walk all around the house and stop for breaks when he can find something to hold on to and then he keeps going. It won't be long until he is running, so I will soon be starting my workout program... it will be called, "Chasing Dylan."

On Wednesday, March 5, my sister Lisa had her baby!!! She had a beautiful little girl, she weighed 8lbs. 1oz. and was 21" long. They named her Molly Jo Roberts. She has got a ton of hair and that is something that I will never see on my kids!! For me, this is the first baby besides mine on my side of the family, hence the excitement!!! I don't have any pictures because our camera was wigging out and so when I get some, they will be posted!!

Kylee went outside first thing and helped Scott shovel and then when I was able to come out we made snow angels and made our very first snowman!! Kylee loved the snow and pretty much played in it all day. Then at the end of the day she came inside and thought that it was funny that her boots were still in her snowpants, so she danced around the house with them.

What a Year!!!

Today is Dylan's 1st birthday, and also the day that we say good-bye to this year and hello to the next. I can't believe that only a year ago my little baby boy became a new addition in our little family. Both of our kids have grown up so much and way too fast!!

Kylee is now 2 1/2 going on 16. She is a little ball of energy and can talk your ear off. She also loves to sing "her" songs when we are in the car; some of which include: BINGO, Monkeys on the Bed and her favorite lately, "John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt". Kylee is very independant and loves to dress herself. Right now buttons of every kind are her new facination. She will button and unbutton her clothes for hours. Kylee loves to help her brother and is an awesome big sister.

Dylan is 1 today!! He is also a ball of energy. He can't walk yet and shows no interest in doing so, but he can crawl and he can crawl FAST!! Dylan's facination is wheels. If it has wheels he is right there playing with them. He has always been like that. Needless to say that for Christmas he got alot of toys that have wheels and he loves them!! He loves to play with his sister and they sometimes just sit and laugh at each other. It is so cute! Dylan also is our little cuddler and loves to give hugs, (especially to his mom.)

I have been blessed by being able to stay home with the kids. Just a couple of months ago I became an Independant Consultant for Scentsy Candles. I am able to stay at home and have many opportunities to succeed in the company. I love what I am doing and am so grateful that I can stay at home and knoo that it wouldn't be possible without Scott!!

Scott this year has had a very successful year in Real Estate. In the fall he moved from one Remax broker to another and then a couple of months ago made the decision to go from being on a team to being on his own. He has done very well with all of the things that has gone on and has doubled his business from last year!! We are so proud of him and appreciate all of the hard work that he does to support his family.

We have had a great year and know that it wouldn't have been possible without our Heavenly Father & Savior, and also without our family and friends. We are so grateful and feel so blessed. Thank you all and my your day be filled with wonderful memories of the year past and may your new year be filled with many more.

I am sorry that it has been so long, but I have been in denial about December coming and going.... so I have liked having the last post be from November 4. Well, November was crazy!! I have started a new business venture and have become a consultant for Scentsy Candles. (www.scentsy.com/teisha). This has kept me a little busy, at least when I am on the computer, but so far things are going great and I can only see it getting better. Then there is the denial thing about December, don't get me wrong, I love this time of year and Christmas and everything that comes with it, but now Dylan's first birthday also comes with the holidays and my baby will no longer be my baby!! I remember thinking last year that the month was not ending soon enough... and now I just want to have a "Ground Hog Day" movie moment and not move forward with the month!! Ok that was a little exagerated and I am excited for my kids to grow up!! This is it for now but I will be posting soon again!!

Today like I said down on the bottom post, we stayed home from church because we have been sick, so we updated the blog.. yeah!!! And Scott decided that he was going to rip a phonebook in half. He was looking around YouTube to figure out how to do it for 15 min. Then, when he finally figured it out, it took him another 10 min. to rip it all in half. I didn't get any pictures of the book ripping, but here is what happened after...

Halloween!!

Halloween was very fun this year... I think that it gets funner with the more kids that you have, plus this was the first Halloween that Kylee started to understand the concept of it. Here are some past pics of Kylee's Halloween.

And here is my Dynamic Duo!! I have a Maid to clean-up after my Li' Stinker (skunk)!! Aren't they cute!! This picture was taken after the Trunk-or-Treat that the ward did. They had a lot of fun. Kylee had so much candy that towards the end she could barely lift her bucket up!!

A couple of days before Halloween, I was watching my sis-in-laws kids while she was at work, and I really wanted to get some fun pictures of the kids playing outside in the leaves in their costumes. So, I took on the brave task of putting four kids in Halloween costumes and doing three girls' hair... and these are the pictures that I got!! The only one that I got really good pictures of was Dylan because he couldn't move in his costume; the other girls were having so much fun that I couldn't get them to sit still. The pictures still turned out good and they had so much fun!!

On Halloween night, we went up to Morgan and did a little Trick-or-Treating up there. The kids definately scored in the candy department!! Kylee is constantly saying, "Mom, can I have a trick-or-treat?" Translation: "Mom, can I have candy?" She says this from the minute she wakes up and all day until she goes to sleep. The good thing is though that it keeps me from eating candy all day, because if I tell her no then I can't have any either or else I have to give her some!!

Pumpkin Patches

Yes, I said "Patches"!! We went to two patches in ONE day!! It was fun though!! The friday before Halloween is when I braved this venture. In the afternoon, we went to a Pumpkin patch with our playgroup. The kids had so much fun!! I was holding Dylan the WHOLE time (needless to say I got very Buff!!) and Kylee kept tripping on the vines that were all over the ground, but we survived and here are some cute pics from that.

Then we went to lunch, came home, took naps and went to another pumpkin patch with Scott and a couple of guys from work and their families. This place had slides, a corn box, (instead of sand it was corn kernels), mazes and then the hayride to the pumpkin patch. The kids had a ton of fun!!

Just a side note... We had so many cute pictures and we were sooo behind with posting them that we made collages out of them. I am so sorry that I have not posted pictures of the last couple of weeks. I didn't have time and now I do, we stayed home from church today due to being sick... so I will get us updated now!!
The weekend before conference, we went up to my Mom & Dad's to hang out and celebrate mine and Lisa's (my sis.) b-day's. Because they are 10 days apart, we just do one big party. It was lots of fun!! I also took some pics of the kids on a GIANT pumpkin that my dad grew this year. The kids thought that it was fun to sit on a pumpkin and they were able to help show grandpa how big they were, because he wasn't able to go back and see them.

While we were there Kylee was downstairs slaving away, cooking food for Grandpa. When she was finished, she brought Grandpa a basket of food and they ate it together.

Well Scott wanted us to post a comment... I thought that I would just post, because I can. I have been a bit confused on how to vote on this... I have a degree in education and most on my friends that I went to school with that are now teaching are totally against it. Then on the other hand, I have heard so many good things about it that I became confused. So I think that I have made a decision, I am for Referandum 1 and here is why...

I think that this is a great way to help those students who need the extra "umph" that a private school can give them. Most teachers know that the trouble makers in the class are usually the smartest kids and they cause trouble because they are bored, they already know what the teacher is telling them. So to be able to go to a different school that will be more advanced for them is great!! Also, I think that it is great that the parents can be more involved and more aware of their childs' education because they actually have a choice. I also like it because the money that will be give in voucher form is based on income, so if you make a lot of money, then you won't get as much money as someone who doesn't make as much... does that make sense??

Now I don't think that everyone should be running out to get vouchers and change school and I don't think that they will, but I do think that if the situation of a child is in need of something like this that it is a great option for the parents. Then when students do use their vouchers, I think that it would be a plus for teachers because their class size goes down and haven't they been complaining about that for years... that is why we keep building bigger, better schools and they just can't keep up.
This is my opinion and I know some of my facts aren't exact, but they are true. And why not vote for it, try it and if we don't like it get rid of it... but who knows it might be the best thing to have happened with education!

How long have you been together? Since October of 2001 (six years ago this month, wow)

Who eats more? Duh!! He does for sure! His "excuse" used to be that he didn't know when he was full.

Who said I love you first? Scott did! I was dead set on having him tell me he loved me first!! I wanted to say it, but I didn't want to scare him away because he was a RM and all, so I waited.

Who is taller? Umm, there is no contest he is for sure!! I am a shorty!

Who sings better? He would say that it is me, but he is not bad either.

Who is smarter? He is for sure...

Whose temper is worse? I think that we are both have tempers, he can just control his better.

Who does the laundry? Me, but he will help if I ask him to.

Who pays the bills? He does

Who mows the lawn? Well, as of right now we don't have a lawn... so nobody.

Who cooks dinner? I wish he did... but he works hard so that I can stay at home, so I guess we are even.

Who asked whom out? He did. It was six years ago, after conference weekend, he asked me to go with him on a FHE group date and we went up in the mountains and had tin foil dinners. It was so much fun and we clicked instantly and have been together ever since.

Who kissed whom first? Well, this is a topic that has been a debate ever since it happened...(sounds like a great first kiss huh?) I say that it was him because I was again set on having him kiss me first because he was an RM and all, but if you ask him... he will say that it was me that kissed him first!! All that matters, I guess, is that we kissed.

Who wears the pants in the family? We are pretty equal, but he does for sure and I can only wish that I did!! :)

Kylee is a Goof-Ball!!!

Alright, for those of you who don't know already, Kylee is just the silliest thing ever!!! She gets super silly right before bedtime. Last night she called me a stinker and just thought that that was the funniest thing ever and I couldn't really tell her not to say that because I call her a stinker all the time.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago we couldn't get her to say the prayer with us and so Scott asked her if she wanted to say, "What's up dude?" to Heavenly Father. (I know, a little weird... but it worked.) She said the prayer, went to bed and that was that. Well, tonight we go to say prayers and we ask her if she would say prayers with us? At first she said no, and then she said, " I want to say Hello Dude." We were all laughing so hard, one because of the way Kylee was saying it and then how she was laughing, (kinda of a had to be there thing) and then because she remembered it!! She has such a good memory!!
She is so much fun to have around the house. I can't wait until Dylan gets to be her age!!!

It has been awhile since we have posted... Life has been crazy these past couple of weeks. On the Friday of Labor Day weekend, my dad feel off the roof of their cabin. It was about a three-story fall. He broke both ankles and his back. He is doing better now and has one more surgery on his left ankle and hopefully he will be coming home soon!!

So the other night I was looking through pictures and this is what I found...
This is me at 8 months... when I looked at it I thought of Dylan, (We have the baldness in common.)

Then I decided to find pictures of the kids at 8 months... I think that they got their good looks from me :)

Alright, fine they both get some of their good looks from Scott too!! Especially Dylan. Scott was four months in this picture...

Well thought that it would be fun to see all of our baby pics... we definately have a cute family and Scott and I consider ourselves lucky to have such good kids. I am amazed everyday at how much they are growing and learning and I love it!! That moment when they learn something new and understand it, it is the best moment ever... I love it!! Almost forgot about this. Hey, this would be good for me to write in my journal twice a month. So I don't feel bad for not posting here in a while. Teish and I were laughing so hard the other night about how Kylee gets all of her antics from Teisha. Teisha will have to post about it and some of the other silly things Kylee says now a day. Our kids are growing so fast right now. Dylans top tooth finally broke through. I am glad that he isn't in such pain anymore but he clicks his teeth together and it drives me up the wall. Almost like fingernails down a chalk board. I'm trying to get use to it, but I never did get use to my sisters popping their knuckles, toes, and neck. I'm cringing right now just thinking about it.

I went Mountain Biking for the first time this summer just below SnowBasin. And realized that I am very out of shape. OH and the trail was all down hill too. Try and figure that one out. I realized I really want to get back into that though. It was a lot of fun. (sidenote: if anyone wants to see me drown in PineView, I got talked into doing a leg of a triathalon in a couple weeks. I will be swimming 750 meters, gulp) I will try to do some swimming while we are at Bear Lake this Labor Day Weekend. I hear open water swimming is a lot different then doing laps in moms pool.

We are going to put our yard in this fall. Finally. I hate walking outside and not being able to enjoy our property. Its just so dirty and dusty right now. But ya, not much else going on. Teisha is the busy one, so hopefully she will find time to jump on here.

Review of Vegas

Its 11:30 right now and Dylan didn't want his daddy. So I am waiting for Teisha to comfort our mommas boy so we can finish all of our Big Brother shows that DVR recorded for us while I was in Vegas for a week.

Quick review of Vegas from a Non Gambler, Non Drinker, and Non Strip Club kinda guy. If you do go for a couple days or more, you will want to learn to art of "pool hopping." Our first night there we just went to our own pool at Excalibur. All 10 of us or so went with our football and just hung out until closing which is early cause the hotels want you back in either spending money on drinks or the slots. BOOO... They are under construction for a bigger pool so I am sure that will up the reviews a little and other then the tractors driving around you, it was ok.

Next night we decided to test our theory on pool hopping and it worked pretty easily. You just grab someone that is going in and ask if you can be there guest. Cause you need a room key to get in but that room key holder can have guests. We went next door to the Luxor, after getting in we some how managed to sneak into the VIP section. Not sure how that happened, I just remember the umbrellas became cabanas and the plastic furniture suddenly had cushions on it. We just walked in on accident, while the dude wasn't manning his post. We had free fruit and no kids running around. So we thought we were pimps.

Next night we decided to go for the wave pool. Mandalay Bay. This by far killed the other 2 pools combined. Sandy beach to the wave pool. 2 other separate pools. Lazy river and good music blaring. Also had a separate, private area that me and Jim walked into on accident. No one was topless yet, it was a good thing we got kicked out before things got crazy. hehe

I also want to warn everyone that if you Don't want to see topless UK women. Then don't go Caesars. So I heard-- I'm sure they don't shave there armpits anyways. Who would want to see that... Yup, its getting late and I'm talking to much.

MGM pools looked nice since we HAD to walk down the glass hallway everyday to and from our meetings. But I would still recommend the Bay any day.

Oh and Yes, there is a huge difference from a 3 star hotel and a 5 star hotel. But hey, our rooms were cheap and we weren't in them much anyways. And we were still on the Strip and very close to everything.

All in all, You can make Vegas a family trip since there are over 150 different kinds of shows, roller coaster rides, great food and shops. Almost all of the hotels now have some type of exhibit. From walking into jungles, watching lions roam, or the exotic car room shows.

Kylee's Haircut

Yesterday, Kylee got her haircut. This is not the first time that she has had a haircut, but this is the first haircut for her to go from long to short. It turned out really cute!! Now I just need to figure out how to do it!!! :)

Danny has a good article on RSS Feeds that Im commiting myself to implement it. Cause it does take a lot of time to bounce to everyones blogs to read the new posts. I guess with the Feed you can read all the new posts at one site or something like that.

Also on Mom and Dads blog, Joey has sent some letters via email, so those are posted there.

We had a great time with Rachel, Jared and the kids while they where in town and are sad to see them leave. Hopefully we will keep in touch and up to date by the blogs and such.

Wow, I think I broke a law or two but we made it to the Wolferts baby blessing. We left here at 8:30 and some how walked into Jareds parents church 5 after 9 around 7600 S and 20 something east. Great blessing and a wonderful day though. I havent posted here for a while. So not really knowing where to start, well I won't. haha
Kylees vocab is amazing and blows me away everyday and Dylan is the most happiest baby boy ever. (just not too happy when Kylee climbs into his crib to sleep with him)

We went to our community park around the corner a couple hours ago and just relaxed. It was fun seeing Kylee trying to copy other kids doing gymnastics and what not. Life goes to fast... We all need to just stop and enjoy our blessings~
