Family Home Evening

For the last year or so we have been able to carry on a great tradition with my side of the family. Once a month we take turns in hosting a FHE night. It was Laura and Scott Goodes turn this month. Its good cause it gets our family together often and we get to pig out on food and a gospel topic. Laura taught us about prayer. Read Alma 34: 18-27 This goes over a handful of things to "pour out your souls" unto Father. We also reflected on us being raised up with family prayer and the habit that it gave us as we all go on our own ways. When we constantly pray, we constantly invite the Spirit into our Homes more. Its a humbling state you put yourself in when you pray and it shows your kids what is most important in your own life. Its amazing how much kids learn by just watching and listening to your slightest moves.

We are thinking of creating Joey a Blog while he is on his mission. Everytime he emails and/ or sends pics, we can copy it all to his personal blog, so everyone can see how he is doing.

We thought we could get Tyler and Kylee to show off their signing ability, but they wanted to just play and be silly cousins. Cute kids--
