Easter
We were planning on posting last week but never got around to it. So i'm sure i'll miss a couple things. On the Thursday before Easter, we went to Jerold Ivies home in Uintah and had his annual Easter Egg Hunt in their back yard. Its tons of fun cause his whole neighborhood is there as well as all of us guys from work. The yard was covered in candy. I'm not even sure if its really classified as a "hunt" since the candy is just scattered all over the yard. Kylee and Tyler didn't really understand it last year, but Kylee cleaned up this year. Then after words Jerolds wife makes a huge dinner over at the church.
They are some great people. That Saturday we went to Adam and Amberlees home in Tremonton to have a good luck party/ easter egg hunt. It was great to see Amberlee is such good spirits and just everyone having a fun time together. We don't hang out with my Dads side of the family enough, so it was great being with my cousins and their kids. Then on Sunday we had a nice dinner at my parents house and had another easter egg hunt. (You'll have to look at my parents blog to see what surprised the girls in the tree.) This time Kylee was out for quantity, not quality... it was funny, cause we hid tons of eggs just for Tyler and Kylee. After awhile we noticed that they werent to interested
in the hard boiled eggs. Those suddenly became air born at each other. Well mainly Joey and Danny, cause I'm a responsible adult now.. hahaha.. anywho.. it was fun hanging out in the yard and looking at how far the yard has come along since they power company took out all the pine trees. They have planted another 6 or 9 pine trees, (im sure those will come down in another 25 years) they planted some type of bamboo (joeys idea) and they are building another waterfall. They call it a pondless waterfall and they have tied it into the new fire pit area. Very Cool for anyone that hasn't seen it yet. Later that night we had a nice testimony meeting about the Savior and the Resurrection. It was great cause it was our last FHE as a family before Joey takes off to Taiwan. Let me find some pictures and/ or video...
