The Week My Daughter Turned "16"!!!

Well as most of you know, Kylee has a birthday coming up on the 2nd. It is supposed to be her "Golden Birthday," because she will be two. But this week, we have had a time warp to the future to Kylee's not so sweet 16. Yup, you read right, Kylee has already had her first kiss with a boy!!! We went to the duck pond yesterday for playgroup. Kylee was having fun with her friends and was throwing bread in the water in hopes that the ducks would come over, but they were not interested. So Kylee decided to run around and play. One of her friends, Riley, and her were playing and he decided to give her a hug!! Ahh, how cute! Well then a couple minutes later I looked over and saw the end of a kiss between Riley and Kylee. My friend Kristen, (who is Riley's mom), said that they both puckered up and went in for the kiss, and this was without anyone egging them on to kiss, they just did it. One good thing though, was that after that, Riley kept chasing Kylee around to hug her and she kept pushing him away. Relief, my daughter isn't too boy crazy yet!!

We had a lot of fun though. When we first got there one little boy was trying so hard to throw the bread in the water that he fell in. Then his sister, Lauren, who is 4 and absolutely in love with Kylee, kept telling Kylee to stay away from the edge so that she wouldn't fall in. It was really cute!!
